streampoint
or stream joint, “where streams cross”: a social incubator, a breeding ground for associations — from loosest acquaintances to workhorse collectives; simply an established cross-cultural meeting place. A tiny side room in a home or a grand City hall, a homely guesthouse or a windswept cliff edge — or even a person with a gift of attracting those at the crossroads: streampoints naturally form (grow famous, accumulate communal lore, die and get reborn) wherever the nomadic stream runs thick and bubbly.
